Dolwyddelan Castle


A square stone keep, dating from the thirteenth century, remains of this castle built by Llywelyn ab Iorwerth ('the Great'). The site was remodelled by King Edward I. OS map 115: SH 721523

Sometimes you may find the site open but unstaffed with no admission charge.
